Differences Between Heidelberg Circuit Boards: DIPM2, DIPM220, DIPM220-I, DIPM220-R, DIPM224
1. DIPM2 (00.785.1121 / 1167)
Original basic I/O board, applicable to medium & low-speed models including SM74, CD74, XL75.
Functions: Signal acquisition, logic control and interface driving.
Not interchangeable with DIPM220 and DIPM224 series.
2. DIPM220 (00.785.1161)
Second-generation universal I/O board, upgraded from DIPM2.
Compatible with mainstream presses like SM/CD102, XL105.
Enhanced port quantity and driving capacity, incompatible with older and newer versions.
3. DIPM220-I (00.785.1170)
I stands for Input, dedicated input expansion board.
Only collects 24V signals from sensors and limit switches, no output circuit.
Used for paper feeding and delivery sections with dense signal points.
4. DIPM220-R (00.785.1168)
R stands for Relay, dedicated relay output board.
Drives solenoid valves, motors and indicator lights, supports high-current loads.
Equipped with relay modules and surge protection, cannot replace input boards.
5. DIPM224 (00.779.2196)
Third-generation high-performance I/O board for high-speed large presses such as XL105/106, CX/SX102.
More I/O channels, wide voltage range 24V-48V, faster response and stronger anti-interference performance. Physically incompatible with previous generations.
